(Language: EN) ~ Under increasing authoritarianism of the current Erdoğan government in Turkey over the past two years, Alex Can Emed, who has successfully represented his country on international Surrealist platforms since 30 years and whose artworks has been participated in countless Surrealist exhibitions across the various countries in Europe and in America, is now under a legal battle against a local District Attorney of Prince Islands (istanbul, Adalar) Yusuf Kemal's indictments has been filed against him. 

Facing absurd accusations of "inciting public hatred and hostility / insulting to the Turkish President" via social media posts due to his modern and contemporary views, and facing imprisonment sentence legal thread, the artist, Alex Can Emed, is appealing to his supporters, who have been following his art since 30 years, to help him spread the word and make his voice heard.  

Alex Can Emed, who has won a total of 11 awards throughout his 30-years of artistic career and whose artworks have been exhibited internationally in palaces and medieval castles across the Europe and in various states in the United States, is also the sole student in Turkey of Oscar-awarded Swiss Surrealist H.R. Giger (Top-Designer of the Alien movie franchise), and one of only three Turkish students of Professor Ernst Fuchs, the founder of the Fantastic-Realism artistical movement. Alex Can Emed has been officially and personally inducted to "Vienna School of Fantastic-Realism" art movement by Ernst Fuchs himself back in 2012.

The Surrealist artist is now currently facing legal action against him due to his modern and contemporary views, brought against him by the Erdoğan government, which has a rising Neo-Islamist bent in Turkey. 

The artist urges everyone who has followed his artistical career with sincere interest since 30 years to support him. 

The first season of the court will take place at; 17/02/2026, at 10:00, in the "Prince Islands, Büyükada Court of Jurisdiction house". (TR: Adalar Asliye Ceza Mahkemesi Duruşma Salonu)

The Surrealist wizard, who is being tried to be discredited by the Attorney's office, is asking for support from his valuable friends.

The young Surrealist wizard is being presented to society as a public target.

The Artist, just wants to continue his Art. 

Any individual is innocent unless proven guilty by the court decision. And the Attorney's Office is essentially just a claiming office.

(Language: TR) ~ Türkiye'de son 2 senedir artan hükümet otoriterleşmesi sonucunda, ülkesini 30 senedir başarıyla uluslararası Sürrealist platformlarda temsil eden ve eserleriyle Avrupa ve Amerika'da sayısız Sürrealist sergilere katılan Alex Can Emed, şimdi kendisine karşı açılan ve yerel Adalar ilçesi Cumhuriyet Savcısı Yusuf Kemal'in iddianamelerine karşı hukuki bir mücadele sürdürmektedir. 

Neo-islami tandanslara sahip olan Türk hükümetinin kendisine karşı, modern ve çağdaş görüşlere sahip olması nedeniyle sosyal medya paylaşımları üzerinden "Halkı kin ve düşmanlığa tahrik / Cumhurbaşkanına hakaret" gibi kendisiyle örtüşmeyecek anlamsız suçlamalarla ve bu nedenle hapis istemiyle kendisine karşı açılan mahkemelerle karşı karşıya olan Sanatçı Alex Can Emed, buradan kendi sanatsal kariyerini 30 senedir takip etmekte olan destekçilerinden bu haberi çevrelerinde olabildiği kadar yayarak Sanatçının sesini duyurmamıza yardım etmenizi istiyor. 

30 senelik Sanat kariyeri boyunca toplamda 11 ödül kazanan ve eserleriyle Avrupa'nın birçok ülkesinde Saraylarda ve Şatolarda uluslararası sergilere katılan ve Amerika'nın çeşitli eyaletlerinde sergilere katılan Alex Can Emed, aynı zamanda Oscar ödüllü isviçreli Sürrealist ve Alien filmlerinin Baş-Tasarımcısı HR Giger'ın Türkiye'deki yegane öğrencisidir ve Fantastik-Realizm akımının kurucusu Profesör Ernst Fuchs'un Türkiye'deki yegane 3 öğrencisinden birtanesidir. 

Sürrealist Sanatçı, Türkiye'de yükselmekte olan Neo-islami tandanslara sahip Erdoğan hükümeti tarafından, modern ve çağdaş görüşlere sahip olması nedeniyle hakkında açılan mahkemelerde hukuki bir mücadele vermektedir. 

Sanatçı bu haberin olabildiğince geniş çevrelerle paylaşılması ve Sanatsal kariyerini 30 senedir ilgiyle takip eden herkesin kendisine destek vermesi çağrısını yapmaktadır.

Görülecek mahkemenin ilk duruşması; 17/02/2026, saat 10:00, tarihinde Adalar Asliye Ceza Mahkemesi Duruşma Salonu'nda gerçekleşecektir.

Born on 5 April 1981, when he was 10 years old in 1991, 1st Winner prize in the inter-school competition on the "Erosion" theme by Tema Foundation while studying in secondary school.

He took certification courses in Teleteknik A.Ş, which organized workshops to learn Deluxe Paint software on Amiga computers of the 80's & 90's in 1991-1992

Learned English in Upper-Intermediate Level during his middle-education from his teacher and a Canadian Conceptual Artist of Sesame Street TV Show; Ray Everett. 1994

He took certification courses on Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Draw softwares at Lasalle Workshops by the tutorialship of Gökalp Baykal in 1997-1998.

He did an internship on 3D Design, Animation and Digital Sculpture and in the process learned to use 3Ds Max, Maya, and After Effects softwares. 1998-1999.

Since his childhood back in 80's, he learned to paint with Oil Colors on Canvas from his mother Gülçin Çolak whom was student of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's Atelier.

He attended workshops on creating Dungeon Master illustrations by using charcoal technique based on Tabletop Fantasy Role Playing games for 3 weeks in Canterbury, England, by some of the top-notch DM's located on the Canterbury. And he reached the stage of professionalizing his hobby of making Fantasy illustrations to turn them into Art. 1997

Worked as Graphic-Designer in Kuartet Advertisement Agency in 1997-1999 and later worked as Art-Director in Artepolativ Designworks in 1999-2014, and later as a Chairman in Artepolativ Designworks on 2014-2021.

He took an academic drawing techniques courses at Adasanat - Memet Güreli Atelier in 1997-1998
